(Newswire.net — June 24, 2020) Orlando, FL — Rheumatoid arthritis is undeniably one of the most prevalent arthritic conditions today. According to experts, there are evidence-based tricks to reduce the risk of this condition.

A study was published in the Arthritis Care & Research.

In this research, it has been found that smoking cessation can decrease the risk of seropositive RA, the more severe form of the disease.

It is worth noting this new study was carried out by the investigators from Brigham and Women’s Hospital leverages data from the Nurses’ Health Studies.

According to Jeffrey Sparks, MD, MMSc, corresponding author, theirs is the first study to show that a behavior change can reduce risk for seropositive RA.

Sparks is from the Division of Rheumatology, Immunology and Allergy at the Brigham.

“Risk isn’t just about genes and bad luck — there’s a modifiable environmental component to the onset of this disease and a chance for some people to reduce their risk or even prevent RA,” he adds.

It is important to remember that RA is not just prevalent but also incurable. It can only be managed through the use of certain medications. It is wise to stop smoking and follow the dietary and lifestyle measures found to work wonders in fighting this disease.

A phytochemical called curcumin, which can be found in turmeric, has been found to work wonders in fighting RA. It is important to realize that this healing agent contains a wide array of therapeutic substances.

According to experts, it has potent anti-inflammatory and anti-arthritic properties that makes it more effective in alleviating RA symptoms than NSAIDs.

There have been many studies showing how beneficial it is for arthritis. What makes it even more beneficial is that it doesn’t cause the side effects linked with the use of pain relieving medications.

It is worth noting curcumin has genoprotective, antifungal, adaptogenic, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, anticarcinogenic, antiproliferative, antiviral, renoprotective, insulin-sensitizing, androgenic, antifibrotic, neurorestorative, and metal-chelating properties.

It also contains anticoagulant, antiseptic, anti-platelet, antioxidant, anti-amyloidogenic, anti-cytotoxic, antibiotic, antimicrobial, anti-purulent, immunomodulating, and anticatabolic agents.

By taking supplements like Divine Bounty Curcumin, consumers would be able to experience the phytochemical’s healing effects.

There are actually many brands available in the market today. However, Divine Bounty Curcumin is widely resorted to due to its high potency.

It also contains black pepper, which is a widely-studied kitchen ingredient. It is worth noting that black pepper has been scientifically found to work wonders in enhancing the absorption of curcumin inside the body (www.amazon.com/Turmeric-Curcumin-BioPerine-Pepper-Extract/dp/B00VSVKJ8I).
