(Newswire.net — July 8, 2020) Orlando, FL — Health authorities have long been warning against sodium, which is linked with a range of undesirable health consequences.

According to experts, a study has confirmed a link between sodium intake and increased risk of mortality. Recent cohort studies used accurate multiple measurements to confirm this.

This new research was published in the International Journal of Epidemiology.

It was carried out by the investigators from Brigham and Women’s Hospital and their colleagues.

According to Nancy Cook, ScD, a biostatistician in the Department of Medicine at BWH, sodium is notoriously hard to measure.

It is worth realizing that intake of sodium may change from day to day. This is why researchers took samples on multiple days to get the accurate measurement of the sodium intake of the subjects.

Dietitians continue to warn against the diseases linked with sodium intake. Reducing consumption of salt could be extremely helpful in warding off a wide array of medical conditions.

By reducing the risk of disease, people may be able to enhance their lifespan. It is strongly recommended to follow healthy dietary and lifestyle practices, which have long been found helpful in reducing the risk of diseases.

In addition to following healthy diet and lifestyle, it is worth noting that some natural remedies have been scientifically found to aid in promoting longevity.

One is curcumin and it has long been widely-researched on due to its remarkable healing effects. It is particularly known to aid in fighting a range of diseases and disorders, which is one reason why it is beneficial for longevity.

A review was published in the BioFactors journal.

In this research, the investigators document the benefit of curcumin in extending the life of some species.

It is important to realize that in multiple research studies, curcumin has been found to have anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, anticarcinogenic, antiproliferative, antiviral, renoprotective, insulin-sensitizing, androgenic, antifibrotic, neurorestorative, and metal-chelating properties.

It also contains anticoagulant, antiseptic, anti-platelet, antioxidant, anti-amyloidogenic, anti-cytotoxic, antibiotic, antimicrobial, anti-purulent, immunomodulating, and anticatabolic agents.

Li-Rong Shen and his associates say that that prospect that pharmaceutical and nutraceutical interventions may delay aging and age-related diseases is shared by many researchers.

These researchers are from the Jean Mayer-USDA Human Nutrition Research Center on Aging at Tufts University.

Due to the therapeutic compounds of curcumin, it has been found useful in preventing age-related chronic diseases. It is worth mentioning that today, there are supplements like Divine Bounty Curcumin found to help deliver its healing benefits.

Individuals who want to increase their protection against diseases may be benefited from the use of this formula (http://www.amazon.com/Turmeric-Curcumin-BioPerine-Pepper-Extract/dp/B00VSVKJ8I).
