(Newswire.net — July 10, 2020) Orlando, FL — Today, many people especially in Western countries consume ultra-processed foods on a daily basis. In the United States alone, people get over 50 percent of their daily calories from ultra-processed foods.

A study was carried out and presented at the American Heart Association’s Scientific Sessions 2019.

It has been found that ultra-processed foods are associated with reduced measures of cardiovascular health. It is worth noting ultra-processed foods are made totally or mostly of substances extracted from certain foods.

These include fats, starches, hydrogenated fats, added sugar, and modified starch. It also involves other compounds and include cosmetic additives such as artificial flavors, colors or emulsifiers.

Scientists from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) reveals that for every 5 percent increase in calories from ultra-processed foods one consumers,  there was a corresponding reduction in overall cardiovascular health.

It is also important to note that ultra-processed food and beverages include cakes, cookies, soft drinks, packaged salty snacks,  processed meats, chicken nuggets, powdered and packaged instant soups.

Experts strongly recommend reducing or avoiding intake of these unhealthy edible items. They are not only linked with heart health disadvantages, but also various diseases and disorders.

There are many interesting facts about how to take better care of the heart, and one involves the use of certain nutrients. Vitamin B6, which is also called pyridoxine, is found to be helpful.

The National Institutes of Health recommends intake of 1.3 mg of vitamin B6 for adults. This nutrient may be obtained from foods like brow rice, beans, beef liver, bananas, carrots, cheese, and chicken.

According to experts, vitamin B6 is essential for over 100 enzymatic reactions in the cells of the body. It aids in metabolizing amino acids from food and building new red blood cells. Some studies suggest adequate intake of this nutrient aids in lessening the risk of heart disease.

There have been many studies finding that this vitamin is highly therapeutic. It is so important that experts strongly warn against its deficiency, which may lead in depression, nervousness, and short-term memory loss.

It is worth noting that B vitamins have long been linked with a myriad of health benefits. These are nutrients many scientists have been researching on due to their strong medicinal values.

While they may be obtained from food, there are also supplements available. One is Divine Bounty Vitamin B Complex, which gains more and more positive reviews from consumers (https://amazon.com/dp/B07414752B).
