(Newswire.net — July 15, 2020) Winnetka, IL — Multiple research studies have long revealed that chronic stress is a potential culprit behind many of the most common diseases today. However, little is known about exactly how it wreaks havoc on health.
A federally funded research was published in the Journal of Leukocyte Biology.
In this research, which was carried out by the Michigan State University researchers, it has been found that that the corticotropin-releasing factor, or CRF1, which is a stress receptor, can transmit signals to certain immune cells, called mast cells, and control how they defend the body.
The investigators compared the histamine responses of mice to two types of stress conditions where the immune system becomes overworked. It is worth noting that the stress conditions were psychological and allergic.
It is worth noting that in one group of mice, there were normal CRF1 receptors on their mast cells while the other group lacked CRF1.
It has been particularly found that while the ‘normal’ mice exposed to stress exhibited high histamine levels and disease, the animal subjects without CRF1 had reduced histamine levels. They also had reduced disease and had protection from both types of stress.
“This tells us that CRF1 is critically involved in some diseases initiated by these stressors,” Moeser says.
Researchers continue to carry out studies to learn more about the detrimental effects of stress on overall health. There have also been research studies revealing that certain natural remedies may work wonders in warding off stress.
By reducing stress levels, the odds of having some symptoms and conditions can be reduced.
Interestingly, there is an increasing number of research studies investigating on some ways to reduce stress levels. One is ashwagandha that is an Ayurvedic herb found to work wonders in delivering a range of health benefits.
In multiple research studies, it has been found ashwagandha significantly helps the body adapt to stress. Scientists further suggest it can strengthen the systems of the body, including the nervous system and adrenals.
A study was published in the Indian Journal of Psychological Medicine.
In this study, it has been found ashwagandha has offered benefits to just about every measure of stress. More specifically, ashwagandha use led to a 28 percent reduction in the levels of the stress hormone called cortisol.
Formulas like NutraHerbals Ashwagandha may be useful for individuals who want to benefit from the stress-fighting benefits of this Ayurvedic herb. This formula, in addition to being highly potent, is equipped with black pepper.
Black pepper increases the absorption of ashwagandha inside the body. This supplement is even backed with a customer satisfaction guarantee (http://amazon.com/organic-ashwagandha-root-powder/dp/B01GZALWGO).
