(Newswire.net — August 10, 2020) Orlando, FL — Diabetes has long been known for the complications it causes. It is worth realizing that such complications include injury.

A study has shown that the risk of fracture is actually higher for seniors with diabetes. This is an alarming news considering that many older people suffer from diabetes.

According to study author Dr. Elizabeth Samelson, fracture in older adults with type 2 diabetes is a highly important public health problem and will only increase with the aging of the population and growing epidemic of diabetes.

Samelson is from the Hebrew SeniorLife’s Institute for Aging Research in Boston.

In this research, the investigating team utilized special medical scans to evaluate over 1,000 individuals over a span of three years. They found that older subjects suffering from type 2 diabetes had bone weakness immeasurable by standard bone density testing.

“Our findings identify skeletal deficits that may contribute to excess fracture risk in older adults with diabetes and may ultimately lead to new approaches to improve prevention and treatment,” said Samelson.

The report was published Sept. 20 in the Journal of Bone and Mineral Research.

Today, more and more experts are looking into the best possible and all-natural ways to fight diabetes. It is worth mentioning that some remedies like the use of digestive enzymes may be beneficial against the condition.

According to researchers, digestive enzymes work wonders in increasing the absorption of nutrients coming from food. They can be useful among diabetics in enhancing digestion and improving nutrient absorption.

It has been found that a digestive enzyme called amylase aids in the digestion of sugars or carbohydrates. It is worth realizing that this chronic condition called diabetes causes impairment in the metabolism of sugars.

What makes it all the more disadvantageous is that it is also linked with the abnormal metabolism of fats and proteins. All three digestive enzymes namely protease, lipase, and amylase are vitamin for diabetes management.

This is due to the fact that they are needed in the digestion of all nutrients, such as fats, proteins, and sugars.

While more studies are still being performed to explore more of the diabetes benefits of digestive enzymes, their use has actually long been reputed to be useful.

There are many health advantages associated with the use of these enzymes. The good news is that formulas like Divine Bounty Digestive Enzymes may work wonders in delivering these benefits. This formula is popularized by its purity and high potency, and is thought widely to be superior over other brands.
