(Newswire.net — September 4, 2020) Las Vegas, NV — Scientists have long been investigating on how certain types of foods affect the levels of good and bad cholesterol.

Health authorities warn that reduced HDL cholesterol levels are associated with the increased risk of cardiovascular disease. Increased consumption of LDL or bad cholesterol levels has also been found to be detrimental to overall health.

According to the National Cancer Institute, there are top food sources of cholesterol in the United States.

This particularly includes chicken, chicken mixed dishes, beef, eggs, full-fat cheese, sausage, bacon, hotdogs, ribs, fish, dairy dessert, pizza, and pasta.

Other foods include grain-based desserts, reduced fat milk, pork, and shrimp.

Health authorities warn high-cholesterol foods can produce some negative impacts on total cholesterol levels. These edible items can produce inflammation, which does most of the damage. It is worth mentioning inflammation also increases the risk of heart disease development.

Experts specifically warn against consumption of canola and other processed vegetable oils as well as potato chips, and some other packaged foods.

It is similarly important to reduce or avoid consumption of cookies and some other sugary treats. Doctors have long warned that dietary sugars can increase the risk not just of diabetes, but also other chronic conditions.

Aside from following healthy diet and lifestyle, there are natural remedies like curcumin found to be helpful in managing cholesterol levels.

Studies have found curcumin could work wonders in helping the body manage cholesterol better.

A 2018 study was carried out in the University of Indonesia.

In this research, it has been found curcumin was able to decrease levels of both total and bad or LDL cholesterol in individuals with acute coronary syndrome.

Another study was performed in the Amala Cancer Research Centre in India.

In this study, was found consumption of 500 mg of curcumin daily increased the levels of HDL or good cholesterol. It also led to a reduction in total cholesterol by 12 percent in 10 healthy human subjects.

There are many benefits associated with the use curcumin. As a matter of fact, the use of supplements like IncrediPure Curcumin is widespread.
