(Newswire.net — September 11, 2020) Orlando, FL — Having poor function of the lungs is in itself something to be alarmed about. This is due to the fact that it could potentially result in undesirable health consequences.

Scientists from Queen Mary University of London carried out a study.

In this research, it has been found that there is a link in between shorter stature and increased risk of heart disease. This is theoretically found to be due to the condition of the lungs.

This research was published in the Communications Biology journal.

It involved examining more than 800 places in the human genome known to be linked with adult height. The investigators also assessed data and recommended that reduced height heightens the risk not just of type 2 diabetes, but also coronary heart disease.

It is worth realizing that heart disease has long been associated with various risk factors, which include fat percentage, blood pressure, cholesterol, triglycerides, and certain socio-economic parameters. These include education and income.

The study was spearheaded by Dr Eirini Marouli from Queen Mary University of London.

“Our results suggest that we need to assess lung function alongside someone’s height to have a better handle in predicting their risk in developing heart disease,” Dr. Marouli said.

It may not at all be difficult to take better care of lung health, and one way to do it is to follow healthy dietary practices. There are foods and even spices like turmeric found to work wonders in improving lung health.

According to experts, this spice possesses a powerful healing phytochemical called curcumin. It possess a wide array of healing ingredients, such as it anti-inflammatories.

Research has shown that inflammation present in a number of lung conditions has an ability to constrict the airways, and this makes breathing difficult. This is usually linked with the immune system’s exaggerated response, which often results in chronic inflammation.

Further, it is also damaging to the lung tissue due to free radicals.

Experts reveal curcumin has genoprotective, antifungal, adaptogenic, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, anticarcinogenic, antiproliferative, antiviral, renoprotective, insulin-sensitizing, androgenic, antifibrotic, neurorestorative, and metal-chelating properties.

It also contains anticoagulant, antiseptic, anti-platelet, antioxidant, anti-amyloidogenic, anti-cytotoxic, antibiotic, antimicrobial, anti-purulent, immunomodulating, and anticatabolic agents.

Through these healing compounds, curcumin has been found to inhibit the onset of or reduce the symptoms of lung conditions. These include chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder (COPD), asthma, pneumonia, emphysema, pleurisy, and lung fibrosis.

While it is known to work wonders in protecting the lungs, experts stress that its use is also associated with various healing effects.

It can be obtained through the use of formulas like VitaBreeze Curcumin (http://amazon.com/Turmeric-Curcumin-Complex-Pepper-Extract/dp/B00JA4TLTI/).
