( — December 5, 2020) Orlando, FL — Air pollution has long been documented due to its health effects. Various research studies even link it with the increased odds of respiratory diseases, stroke, and lung cancer.

A study was spearheaded by the researchers from Barcelona Institute for Global Health (ISGlobal) in India.

The findings of this interesting research suggest that there is a link between air pollution exposure and poor bone health.

The results were published in Jama Network Open.

It involved looking into more than 3,700 individuals 28 villages outside the city of Hyberabad, in southern India.

The investigators suggest that exposure to ambient air pollution was associated with lower levels of bone mass.

There are actually many other studies about bone health, but many still end up having weak bones prone to fractures and injuries. Experts have long been recommending to nourish the body with nutrients to protect the bones.

B vitamins have long been known to be some of the most powerful nutrients for the bones. There have actually been many research studies revealing that these vitamins, particularly B12, could support bone health.

Scientists carried out a study and it involved over 2,500 adult subjects. It has been found those with vitamin B12 deficiency had lower than normal bone mineral density.

It is important to note that bones having reduced mineral density can get fragile and delicate over time, and this increases the odds of osteoporosis.

Some studies suggest there is a link in between reduced vitamin B12 levels and poor bone health as well as osteoporosis, particularly in women. Years of research have long revealed that B vitamins along with calcium and vitamin D are vital for bone strength.

It is worth noting that increasing evidence suggests a link between osteoporosis or low bone density and increased odds of fracture with a deficiency in B vitamins. It is found the most helpful to consume more B vitamins.

B vitamins for bone health are B2, B6, B12, and folate. These are B vitamins that can be obtained from consumption of beans, whole grains, fruits, vegetables, poultry, fish, cereals, and animal products like eggs, fish, and meat.

There are also supplements like Divine Bounty B Vitamin Complex that could be useful in delivering the healing goodness of these nutrients.
