(Newswire.net — December 5, 2020) Orlando, FL — Global hypertension rate estimates that 26 percent of the population, or 972 million people, have high blood pressure. While its prevalence is already staggering, what makes it all the more alarming is that it is a primary contributor to life-threatening ailments.
These ailments are heart disease and stroke, which are also considered to be a tremendous public health burden. In 2013, hypertension was ranked on the top in the modifiable risk factor for disability adjusted life-years lost worldwide.
Due to the high prevalence of this disease, scientists carry out studies to explore various aspects of the condition and how it can be cured.
A study was carried out by researchers from the University of Georgia.
In this research, the investigators found a link between the early onset menstruation to high blood pressure in late adulthood.
The findings of this interesting research were published in Hypertension Research.
More particularly, the investigators reveal that early menstruation onset significantly increased the odds of hypertension in late adulthood. The findings remain the same even after controlling for independent social economic factors, lifestyle behaviors, and other metabolic measures.
According to Luqi Shen, some studies suggested that early menarche increased the risk of hypertension in late adulthood, while other studies indicated that late onset of menarche was associated with hypertension in late adulthood.
Shen is a doctoral student at UGA’s College of Public Health and study author.
The scientific community continues to look into the best possible ways to combat hypertension. It is worth noting that some plant-bases remedies have been found by studies to be helpful for hypertension prevention and management.
One of these healing ingredients is curcumin, which can be found in the bitter yellow spice called turmeric. It is worth mentioning that this Ayurvedic spice has long been used for thousands of years for a range of medicinal purposes.
A study was published in the Nutrition and Metabolism journal.
In this research, it has been found that curcumin was able to reduce blood pressure in chemically-induced hypertensive rats.
There are other studies indicating that curcumin may be helpful for hypertension. It is also known for the remarkable healing benefits it offers.
According to researchers, this phytochemical has genoprotective, antioxidant, anti-amyloidogenic, antifungal, adaptogenic, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, insulin-sensitizing, androgenic, antifibrotic, neurorestorative, and metal-chelating properties.
All of these disease-fighting healing agents may be obtained through the use of highly potent formulas like VitaBreeze Curcumin. There are many features this formula offers that make it superior over other brands.
Aside from its high potency, it is also equipped with black pepper which increases curcumin absorption inside the body (http://amazon.com/Turmeric-Curcumin-Complex-Pepper-Extract/dp/B00JA4TLTI/).
