(Newswire.net — December 5, 2020) Las Vegas, NV — Today, more and more people are suffering from depression. Unfortunately, not all of them are diagnosed and are able to get treated.

Scientists have been carrying out studies to determine the ways potentially helpful in preventing depression.

According to some studies, inadequate sleep is a trigger. It is important to take the measures necessary in getting sufficient hours of sleep. It is similarly important to ensure that sleep is of good quality.

Researchers found that there is a link in between disturbances in circadian rhythms and depression. Aside from sleep, it is similarly important to stay away from a sedentary lifestyle.

This means engaging in exercise on a regular basis. A recent study has found that depression symptoms improved after exercise. It even significantly reduced levels of cortisol.

Blood sugar regulation has been discovered to play a significant role in depression. Studies have found a link between sugar consumption and depression rates.

It is wise to follow a healthy diet to regulate blood sugar and decrease depression risk. It is worth mentioning that some foods have been found to have antidepressant properties.

Multiple research studies have focused on the therapeutic, anti-depression benefits of some natural remedies like curcumin.

According to clinical trials and lab experiments, turmeric has been able to reduce symptoms of depression. It has been speculated to affect neurotransmitter function through the brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF).

A study was published in the Phytotherapy Research journal in 2014.

In this study, researchers had 60 volunteers diagnosed with major depressive disorder (MDD). It was found that all of the participants tolerated curcumin well.

To make the results even more interesting, curcumin was found to be equally effective as an antidepressant medication in a span of six weeks. The combination of both treatments, however, led to a slightly higher improvement.

“This study provides first clinical evidence [emphasis added] that curcumin may be used as an effective and safe therapy for treatment in patients with mild depression,” the authors say.

It is worth mentioning curcumin has genoprotective, antifungal, insulin-sensitizing, androgenic, antifibrotic, neurorestorative, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, anticarcinogenic, antiproliferative, antiviral, renoprotective, and metal-chelating properties.

It also contains anticoagulant, antiseptic, antioxidant, anti-amyloidogenic, anti-cytotoxic, antibiotic, antimicrobial, anti-purulent, immunomodulating, and anticatabolic agents

Supplements like IncrediPure Curcumin have been found beneficial in delivering the phytochemical’s depression-fighting, health-enhancing goodness (https://amazon.com/Turmeric-Curcumin-Supplement-BioPerine-Capsule/dp/B0166KAW8M).
