Based in the UK, the launch prior to the UN Climate Change Conference, COP 26, taking place in Glasgow next year, sets Climate Law Ltd centre stage as the world focuses on this important upcoming meeting.
Climate Law Ltd will handle special project work and advise clients on climate law and climate change law and regulations. Covering both domestic and international public legislation, the company will specialise in the regulatory aspect of carbon offsetting.

The new company has been established by Michael Rawlinson QC, a barrister with chambers in London and Manchester, who is a practitioner in the field of climate change, especially in re-structuring carbon capture.
Michael Rawlinson was called to the bar in 1991, and is an acknowledged authority and blogger on climate law. He will run Climate Law Ltd alongside his role at his chambers in London and Manchester.
Beyond his legal duties, Michael actively supports those combating harmful carbon emissions. He is an independent non-executive director of a company planting and caring for Ghanaian teak trees in West Africa, Mere Plantations Ltd.
His assistance has aided this organisation to grow some of the continent’s largest tropical plantations which have sequestered millions of tonnes of carbon dioxide.
