( — February 4, 2021) Orlando, FL — Today, more and more food ingredients are being widely researched on by scientists due to their dangerous potentials to health.

According to recent research, certain food additives behave like estrogen inside the body. It is important to realize that hormonal imbalances have long been associated with a variety of undesirable health issues.

In the United States, over 3,000 flavorings, preservatives, colors, and other ingredients are added to food. The Food and Drug Administration even warns that none of them are required to undergo testing for estrogenic activity.

According to Clair Hicks, we need to be mindful of these food additives because they could be adding to the total effect of other estrogen mimicking compounds we’re coming into contact with.

Hicks is a professor of food science at the University of Kentucky and spokesperson for the Institute of Food Technologists, a nonprofit scientific group.

“The benefits of using these additives in food need to be weighed against the risks they present,” Hicks added.

These hormone-mimicking substances are known as xenoestrogens, which are linked with a myriad of undesirable health consequences. Foods with xenoestrogens are baked goods, shortening, dried meats, candy, fresh pork sausage, mayonnaise and dried milk.

More studies are still being carried out to learn about the undesirable health effects of these ingredients to overall health. However, experts maintain reducing or avoiding their intake is extremely helpful for disease prevention.

There are also techniques like body cleansing that may be useful in halting these harmful substances from wreaking havoc on health. One is through the use of activated charcoal, which can be obtained via supplementation today.

The use of activated charcoal continues to gain increasing popularity in the global market today. This natural ingredient is popularized by the highly porous surface it contains that traps toxins, chemicals, and gases in the gut.

It is interesting to state that activated charcoal is not absorbed by the body, and this means that it gets eliminated through the feces along with the chemicals it binds with. This natural remedy is actually used for other purposes, such as in teeth whitening, water filtration, and food poisoning.

Formulas like Purest Vantage Activated Charcoal Capsules continue to be on top of the list of the most reliable, effective, and safe sources of this remedy.
