With the launch of their in-house procedures for virus prevention, the Bayberry Inn aims to provide guests with travel accommodations that prioritize their health. By staying at a hotel that follows these recommended guidelines, visitors can safely experience Ashland’s tourist attractions and beautiful scenery.

To prevent virus transmission between guests, the inn sanitizes all surfaces and fixtures in rooms and common areas, including door knobs and light switches. Each room has a vigorous cleaning and disinfecting period after any guest’s departure and before the next guest’s arrival.

Housekeeping services have been limited to prevent anyone except guests from entering their rooms, but trash is removed regularly, and guests can request daily replacements of towels and amenities.

The inn’s usual family style breakfasts have been temporarily replaced by continental style breakfasts served to go. These meals include coffee, home-made baked goods, and a fresh fruit parfait, which can be taken back to guests’ individual rooms. The Inn looks forward to resuming it’s gourmet breakfast service as soon as possible.

Located in downtown Ashland in walking distance of Lithia Park and the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, the Bayberry Inn offers guests easy access to the city’s many restaurants and wineries and the nearby Crater Lake National Park.

The Bayberry Inn is a female owned and operated business and was awarded the Trip Advisor 2020 Traveler’s Choice Award. The inn’s convenient location between Seattle, Portland, and the San Francisco Bay Area makes it an ideal stop for travelers driving on the I-5 Corridor.

A spokesperson for the company said: “There is so much to do in Ashland. From hiking, biking, rafting, shopping, wine tasting, dining out at one of our top rated restaurants. These can all be done with social distancing in mind. Or if you prefer to eat in, there is a refrigerator and microwave available. Just let us know what you need and we will work hard to make it happen.”
