Texas based Mr. Laundry has launched a new deluxe hang-dry laundry system for at home air drying, complete with telescoping garment hangers, collar stays, garment rods and more.

Mr. Laundry, an online store devoted to laundry products based in Lubbock, Texas, has announced the release of a new deluxe air-dry laundry system featuring the latest advances in smart air-drying technology.

The announcement coincides with the latest research from Carbon Footprint, which indicates that tumble dryers are the worst home appliance for carbon dioxide emissions, contributing on average 159kg of CO2 per household per year.

In addition to the fact that tumble dryers are therefore also one of the costliest appliances on a household’s electricity bill, they are also notorious for damaging clothes – whether by shrinking or fading.

Mr. Laundry aims to help both the longevity of the planet and of their clients’ wardrobes with their new air-dry system.

The deluxe package comprises of five telescoping garment hangers, ten collar stays, twenty of their unique patent pending Click-IT Clips, five garment rods, one deluxe over-the-door hook and one storage bag.

This new smart air-drying technology can be utilized on all garments, from jeans to business shirts to delicates.

The system can be used both indoors and outdoors, and features a space saving cascading hanger system meaning it is also more compact than traditional drying racks or lines.

Mr. Laundry’s unique new product is designed to ensure a quick dry with no dryer-caused damage to clothing, and also to eliminate standard but frustrating problems like unwanted creases and shoulder bumps that arise from standard pegs and traditional hanging systems.

The Deluxe Hang-Dry System currently retails for $89.95 and is offered with a 60-day risk free trial. Mr. Laundry fulfill and ship their orders within 24 hours.

Mr. Laundry was founded 20 years ago by Bruce Scott, born of his mission to find a smarter solution to an everyday household problem. Since then, the company and its smart drying technology have grown significantly and Mr. Laundry has become one of America’s largest laundry goods retailer with a goal to become worldwide this year.

A spokesperson for the company said, “With Mr. Laundry, your clothes drying woes are a thing of the past. Our air-dry racks allow you to take your clothes directly out of the wash and hang them out to dry without shrinking, losing color, or sustaining damage like they would in a machine dryer.”
