(Newswire.net — March 16, 2021) Orlando, FL — Heart health issues have long been reputed to affect older individuals. However, certain types of these problems have recently been observed to be more common in the younger population.

In the United States, there is an estimated number of 6 million individuals who have heart failure.

A study was published in the Journal of the American College of Cardiology.

This new Northwestern Medicine study has shown that death rates because of heart failure are increasing. It is further worth noting that such as increase is most noticeable among younger adults under 65 years of age.

Further, the study findings suggest the increase in premature death due to heart failure was highest among African American men below the age 65.

This study shows for the first time that these death rates have been skyrocketing since 2012.  Such increases happen despite significant advances in medical and surgical treatments for heart failure in the past decade.

According to Dr. Sadiya Khan, the success of the last three decades in improving heart failure death rates is now being reversed, and it is likely due to the obesity and diabetes epidemics.

Dr. Khan is an assistant professor of medicine at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and a Northwestern Medicine cardiologist.

In recent data, it has been shown that there has been a decline in the average life expectancy among the American population.

This research involved data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Wide-Ranging Online Data for Epidemiologic Research data.

It included the underlying and contributing cause of mortality from all death certificates in the U.S. between 1999 and 2017 for 47,728,569 individuals.

Scientists continue to carry out studies to look into the best possible ways to reduce the prevalence of heart failure. It is worth noting that in some studies, it has been found the use of curcumin may help.

A curcumin study involving rats has shown that this phytochemical reduce heart failure risk. It is important to stress that the rats were subjected to surgery or drugs designed to place them at a heightened risk of heart failure.

It has been found that through curcumin treatment, the rats had more resistance to heart failure and inflammation. The investigators even observed signs of reversed heart enlargement in those treated with curcumin.

Today, formulas like Divine Bounty Curcumin are widely resorted to by consumers. Some experts actually recommend intake of curcumin for preventive health purposes.

While there are many formulas available in the market today, it is important to realize that this one from Divine Bounty is not just highly potent but is also equipped with black pepper.

Black pepper is helpful as it increases the absorption of curcumin inside the body (http://amazon.com/Turmeric-Curcumin-BioPerine-Pepper-Extract/dp/B00VSVKJ8I).
