The expanded program offerings at Kids Care Center aim to continue offering compelling learning opportunities for learners aged 6 weeks to 12 years old. At this time, Kids Care Center is the only learning center in Midlothian, TX to be Texas Rising Star Certified for Providing Quality Child Care.
A recent study by Learning Policy Institute (LPI) suggests that students who attend high-quality preschool programs may reap benefits that last through school and the rest of their lives. By offering programs that begin for infants at 6 weeks, Kids Care Center aims to help learners and families take advantage of these opportunities.
The positive effects of early learning, which can be seen in early literacy and mathematics skills, may give students an advantage as they enter into the school system. Kids Care Center provides support for those students as well, with offerings like their after-school STEAM program for children ages 5-12 focused on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.
Kids Care Center also offers a comprehensive curriculum for Toddlers & Twos. This 52-week program, called The Frog Street Toddler program, is designed around the latest brain research and involves easy-to-do activities for children ages 12 to 36 months.
Likewise, their Threes program, designed for children ages 36 to 48 months, aims to provide intentional instruction toward kindergarten readiness. From there, the research-backed Pre-K program implements education across several domains.

Steven Barnett, Founder and Senior Co-Director of the National Institute for Early Education Research (NIEER) at Rutgers University shared some of the potential outcomes from this type of childhood learning. “High-quality preschool programs can also help close the gap in school and life outcomes between those raised in low-income families and their wealthier peers.”
