(Newswire.net — June 11, 2021) Orlando, FL — The latest estimates by the World Health Organization and the International Labour Organization reveal that long working hours resulted in 745 000 deaths from stroke and ischemic heart disease in 2016.

This means a 29 percent increase since 2000. This first global analysis was published in Environment International today.

More particularly, this WHO and ILO estimate has shown that, in 2016, 398 000 people died from a stroke and 347 000 from heart disease due to working at least 55 hours a week.

“The COVID-19 pandemic has significantly changed the way many people work,“ said Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, WHO Director-General.

“No job is worth the risk of stroke or heart disease. Governments, employers, and workers need to work together to agree on limits to protect the health of workers,” he added.

Scientists are increasingly carrying out studies to look into the impacts of some measures on heart health. Making dietary and lifestyle improvements is key to cardiovascular health protection. Some nutrients like B vitamins may be helpful.

B vitamins have long been studied due to their strong medicinal values. It is important to keep in mind that deficiencies in these nutrients may result in symptoms and even certain medical conditions.

These include confusion, anemia, depression, dementia, fatigue, difficulty in maintaining balance, and intestinal problems. These vitamins may be obtained through the consumption of certain foods or via supplementation.

When it comes to heart health and protection, some B vitamins may be helpful.  A study was carried out and published in Stroke: Journal of the American Heart Association.

In this research, the investigators treated the subjects with folate, vitamin B6, and vitamin B12. They observed significantly fewer deaths from heart disease, stroke, and total cardiovascular deaths in women. The findings have led scientists to suggest that the use of folate and B6 may help combat cardiovascular disease.

This is due to their ability in lessening the levels of homocysteine, which is an amino acid in the blood that is affected by diet, but also heredity. It is worth keeping in mind that homocysteine is thought to produce damage to the inner linings of arteries, promoting blood clots.

Today, more and more consumers turn to the use of formulas like Divine Bounty B Vitamin Complex to obtain the healing goodness of these nutrients.

It contains Choline, Pantothenic acid, Biotin, Vitamin B12, Folic Acid, Niacin, Riboflavin, Thiamin, and vitamin B6.
