(Newswire.net — July 7, 2021) Orlando, FL — An increasing number of studies are highlighting the dangerous impacts of chemical exposure. There are actually many chemicals that are linked with the increased risk of diseases, and these include the ones that can be found in laundry detergents.

According to experts, these are products that have enzymes effective in loosening stains and ground-in dirt. The most toxic are cationic detergents, as they can lead to vomiting, nausea, shock, convulsions, and coma when ingested.

While non-ionic detergents are less toxic, they are irritating to the skin and eyes tend to make one more sensitive to other chemicals.

It is also worth being strongly warned that exposure to large quantities of detergent can increase the risk of asthma. There are also many household poisonings that occur due to accidental swallowing of detergents.

These ingredients have harmful chemicals like ammonia, ethylene glycol monobutyl acetate, sodium hypochlorite, and/or trisodium phosphate.

While it actually depends on the ingredients used, all-purpose cleaners are generally irritating to the nose, skin, eyes, and throat. Household bleach has the chemical called sodium hypochlorite, which is linked with dermatitis, stomach irritation, esophageal injury, and prolonged nausea and vomiting.

It is similarly important to be warned against pet flea and tick treatments, which usually contain pesticides consisting of chemicals like imidacloprid, fipronil, pyrethrins, permethrin, and methoprene.
