The newly launched educational series will consist of over four hundred sessions on a wide variety of HR topics, including artificial intelligence, employee wellbeing, outsourcing, and many more, rolled out over three weeks starting in June.
Continued pandemic-related travel restrictions are causing professionals of all types to opt for continuing education, acquiring credits, and recertification opportunities online.
The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI) are the two official standard-setting certification sources for the United States and Canada.
This virtual event series aims to better support these certifying organizations and HR professionals throughout both countries by offering credit towards certification.
Being virtual, the events offer far more flexibility than traditional live events and are increasingly preferred because they require no travel and associated expenses.
Replays will be archived for those unavailable to attend the live events.
Started in 2014, David Whitmarsh’s first blog, “Best Practice in Sales & Marketing,” became the first of several blog networks that would become the core of the Whitmarsh Consulting Group.
His most popular blog, “Best Practices in HR,” has more than 220,000 HR professionals following it. It remains an important resource in the United States and Canada for HR industry best practices.
More recently, he has created the popular follow-up “Best Practices” blogs on Talent Acquisition; Training, Leadership, and Coaching; and Benefits.
Whitmarsh, on why he started the Best Practices blog: “In the HR industry, we commonly see the same kinds of content promotion, but often with large price tags and very little guaranteed return. I wanted to do something different.”
