(Newswire.net — August 31, 2021) — In a world of chaos, unrest, and indefinite pandemic grappling the nations all over the globe, certain relief measures come in handy to stop these discomforts.

Charting the course of social change and commonwealth for everyone, The 195 Project is one organization that is battle-ready to make a difference. Established by Mr. Calvin Lo, a businessman from Hong Kong, The 195 Project is embracing a collective approach to solving the world’s biggest problem; poverty.

The 195 Project has mapped out strategic goals to cushion the horrendous effects of the pandemic, expanding the goodwill to every race, continent, and person, regardless of social class, race, profession, religion, gender, or disability.

Working towards achieving this convergence of world wealth builders to distribute prosperity among every country in the world to actualize a common economy is a huge feat to ask for – but not impossible. The moneybags in America and other developed countries may have to let loose more of their monetary possessions to humanitarian projects than they have been doing for years. The 195 Project does not wish to accept a ‘no’ for an answer – a go-getting spirit that will guarantee the success of the organization’s visions.

According to the information on its website, The 195 Project has its purpose to proffer solutions by giving listening ears, learning from competent game changers, and collaboratively promoting a global economy. “The purpose of this initiative is to listen, learn and collectively campaign for a global economy that can be kinder and can reward innovation and hard work,” (Lo: 2021).

The Background

The background of this establishment comes from the 1944 Bretton Woods Agreement conference, a meeting that came up in New Hampshire.

At the gathering, an agreement was reached for some conditions to be set up for a worldwide financial structure that could revamp the global economy that was destroyed after World War.

In 2020, seventy-six years later, Calvin Lo, the founder of The 195 Project had a crucial meeting with humanitarian enthusiasts, world economy experts, and his associates whose wealth always speaks for them. As a result, the organization was birthed.

The Positives

Innovations should foray into kinder endeavors to sweep away human suffering, while not forgetting diligence in labor because laziness only produces crime and poverty. But what if hard work is not compensated with self-contentment? The way forward is philanthropy. Creating several sources of wealth that go around for everyone to enjoy should always be paramount to all kind-hearted people, and this phenomenon is the ultimate objective propagated by the initiative.

I like the fact that the movement is hinged on various trajectories of charitable causes, with the pandemic taking the lead. Since 2020, lives have been lost, homes destroyed, businesses folded, and many are living in uncertainties laced with squashed dreams and dashed hopes for a better future.

Above all these, the economy in almost every part of the world bears the brunt, suppressed by the burdens of the other sectors that depend solely on the financial status of a country.

According to current statistics on the poverty level scorching the citizens across the globe, the number of people living in abject poverty, surviving on a paltry $1.90 per day, is estimated at 689 million (9.2 percent) of the world’s population. The look of things indicates the possibility of this figure rising by the end of 2021 if something urgent is not done about it.

This is the time that The 195 Project is needed most, its emergence couldn’t have been more appreciated.

Its purpose was clearly laid out – to address the aftermaths of the downhill situations surrounding the economy. To prevent the calamities from persisting, apolitical alliances must be formed by these 3 key players:

  • the government,
  • the third sector,
  • Civil society.

The 195 Project has expanded to the international community, pooling a formidable team of different think tanks together to achieve a common goal and objective.

Going by the organization’s name, the number ‘195’ stands for every official country around the world, which are 195 countries altogether. The 195 Project will ensure that none of them is neglected in the philanthropic gestures that will be carried out in the organization. In other words, no one will be left behind where The 195 Project is concerned.

With collaborative efforts from all world powers and the wealthiest entities, the terrible impacts of the COVID-19 scourge that came with a gargantuan force to wreck people’s lives will be eliminated and rectified. The anguish and worrisome sights caused by this pandemic for us to salvage (if it can be done at all) are only repressible when the commonwealth is shared to the masses, rather than being concentrated in the hands of a privileged few.

A brighter future awaits all the 195 nations if they cooperate with Calvin Lo and his team of like-minded individuals to save humanity from permanent damage, even if COVID-19 is eradicated.

I believe so much in this initiative. The 195 Project deserves to be given a chance. The burdens on the government are enormous, and giving them a helping hand will save everyone a lot of time and money.

The Negatives

There must be opposition in all things, so I’m not expecting all to be smooth for The 195 Project.

Hostility to the movement may rise from unapologetic anti-people policymakers and crooks whose personal gains come from the pandemic. Also, some countries may find the idea of embracing a private organization to combat the pandemic threatening, because of diverse government laws existing in those countries.

Currently, the organization is yet to complete its implementation stage in the United Kingdom and the United States. The delay may drag on for years.

More work needs to be done on their website to make its design more visually appealing, although the interface is mature and easy to the eye, adding more inclusive and interesting features will attract better traffic.

Nonetheless, keeping the faith should be the first step, and when the world sees the benefits of The 195 Project, then the acceptance level will increase.
