(Newswire.net — September 15, 2021) — Many people loved Shroud. They knew him as the CS: GO streamer, and nobody could ever imagine that he would leave the game. Everyone was excited to make their bets on csgoeasybets.com and support him, but he decided it’s time to quit. But what made him decide to part ways with the game that made him loved in the first place?

Shroud’s Decision

Michael ‘shroud’ Grzesiek started as a Counter-Strike streamer. He used to be an FPS God, and he even played the game professionally in rosters such as complexity, Manajuma, and Cloud9. He gained popularity thanks to playing a lot of Counter-Strike and being one of the best, while others only know him for his Twitch streaming.

But recently, Shroud mentioned how he is ready to move on from Counter-Strike. Not only was he disappointed with the game, but he also found another game that he found was more worthy of his time.

After a long time, Shroud attempted to play CS: GO again. It wasn’t a good experience, though, as he saw a lot of bugs, lag, and even hackers. Disappointed with what he found, he declared he is ready to give up on the game. He thinks that Valve doesn’t care a lot about CS: GO because if they did, they would fix the issues.

“I’ll be honest, I was actually a little excited to play CS. I can’t believe that’s how that went,” he said. “The only way Valve cares, or starts to make changes, is everyone stops paying CS. I feel like playing it is supporting the problem.”

He then also spoke about the title that made him quit CS: GO, respectively PUBG. During a Twitch stream, he spoke about how he was in love with the game and how it was one of the things that made him want to leave the Counter-Strike world for good.

“Being hooked on PUBG was a mix of things,” he said. “It was me being on break in Counter-Strike, [and] realizing that ‘holy f**k, I really just wanna stream,’ so I quit CS. The fun I was having in PUBG was because it was similar to CS, as weird as [that] is. PUBG was very close to Counter-Strike.”

Will Shroud Ever Go Back?

Some CS: GO fans may be hoping for a comeback, but at the moment, that seems unlikely to happen. For now, he is more focused on other games, like Valorant. It is hard to predict what the future will bring.
