The new models, such as the 2022 Outback Wilderness, maintain the popular style and features of older Subarus while introducing new technology and features such as improved angles and enhanced X-MODE.
The new SUV features 9.5 inches of ground clearance alongside a front skid-plate and symmetrical all-wheel drive, making it ideal for off-road drives and climbs. The AWD system helps to maintain uniform stability, and improve handling and power delivery in order to maximize traction and grip.
The new Outback Wilderness features off-road wheels with all-terrain tires, including a full-sized spare wheel. These are finished in matte-black alloy with Yokohama GEOLANDER tires that give improved grip, feel, and performance in tough conditions. The engine is a turbo-charged, direct-injection Subaru boxer engine producing 260 brake horsepower, with 3500 pounds of towing capacity.
In addition to the 2022 SUV, there is a range of other new models available, such as the WRX. The WRX is available in multiple specifications, such as the standard WRX option and the WRX STI Limited option. The latter features a 6-speed manual gearbox and a 2.5-liter engine, producing 310 brake horsepower.
