(Newswire.net — December 29, 2021) Orlando, FL — Various research studies have been carried outlook into the impacts of music therapy on certain diseases. In a study, it has been found beneficial in cases of stroke.

This research was spearheaded by Dr. Alex Street, of Anglia Ruskin University (ARU).

The findings of this interesting research were published in Topics in Stroke Rehabilitation.

This study is described as the first large-scale investigation performed on a 26-bed stroke and rehabilitation unit at Addenbrooke’s hospital in Cambridge. In this research, 177 patients took part in 675 Neurologic Music Therapy (NMT) sessions over a two-year period.

The investigators looked into the success of the patients, their relatives, and health professionals.

It has been found music therapy aided in regulating mood and enhancing concentration among individuals with stroke. What makes it even more beneficial is that it also promotes changes in the brain and this is called neural reorganization that enhances function.

There are also physical benefits, such as better arm function and gait.

Music therapy has long been resorted to as an adjunct treatment for various diseases. There has also been quite a number of research studies showing that music could work wonders in healing the body.

Today, scientists continue to carry out more and more studies to look into the various remedies that may be helpful against stroke. Aside from music therapy, certain all-natural remedies like curcumin are also scientifically found beneficial.

A study was carried out and spearheaded by Dr. Ailsa McGregor, a Senior Lecturer in clinical pharmacology at the University of Otago.

The investigating team tried to see what the effects are of using curcumin on stroke patients. It is worth noting that the subjects were not suitable for clot buster therapy but had inflammation in the brain.

It has been found the use of curcumin prior to or immediately after a stroke produced not just neuroprotective benefits, but also anti-inflammatory effects. Experts theorize curcumin may have a wider application as a regenerative agent.

More studies are still being carried out to explore the impacts of curcumin on stroke. However, this phytochemical remains to be a useful remedy for a wide range of diseases.

To benefit from its use, it is wise to consider formulas like Divine Bounty Curcumin. This formula is made specifically to deliver the therapeutic goodness of this phytochemical. In addition to being highly potent, it also contains black pepper.

This adds more value to the formula considering that black pepper increases the absorption of curcumin inside the body (https://amazon.com/Turmeric-Curcumin-BioPerine-Pepper-Extract/dp/B00VSVKJ8I).
