(Newswire.net — January 10, 2022) — What Benjamin and Matt Arnold-Ladensack have planned for their little patch of land in Whitefish, Montana, is the stuff of dreams. Nestled in the mountains and backed by the beautiful Stillwater River, the couple has created Clydesdale Outpost, a vacation destination slated for a Summer of 2022 opening.

Benjamin Arnold has a long history working with Clydesdale horses, most recognizable from the iconic Budweiser commercials. Protecting and raising this vulnerable horse breed has been a family labor of love for Arnold, starting in 1995 in Fernwald, Germany. Benjamin and his father bought their first Shire horses, a very large horse breed similar to Clydesdales. It wasn’t until 2009, when he paid a visit to the American National Clydesdale Show, Benjamin’s attention turned to the gentle giant breed. He had his first Clydesdales flown from the United States to Germany, and a legacy began.

Immigrating to the United States upon meeting and marrying Matt Ladensack in 2013, Benjamin and his new husband decided to build their dream farm in Washington State. The couple successfully managed their Amboy, WA farm until deciding to relocate to Whitefish, Montana, to create the larger Clydesdale Outpost. This new venture will allow Benjamin and Matt to breed world-class Clydesdales and provide a unique, serene location for visitors of all kind.

A Little Cabin By the River

Clydesdale Outpost seeks to allow guests to disconnect from day-to-day stress amid a picturesque setting. Their cabin accommodations are outfitted with modern amenities (including WI-FI for those remote workers who would like to get away from their home office). There are six “luxury tiny cabins” in all, offering two bedrooms and different vintage-inspired decor for each. Benjamin and Matt focused on a sense of coziness and providing an unforgettable guest experience.

“Clydesdale Outpost is a completely unique experience,” says Matt, “I’m most excited to help people disconnect from the stress of real life and have them re-connect with nature and creativity. We will have record players and typewriters that add to the vintage flair – but most importantly acres that guests can walk, float and retreat on.”

The cabins boast full-sized kitchens, and each has an outdoor grill on the private deck for BBQ. There are even private cedar hot tubs with every cabin.

A Place to Think and Create

So many people have started working remotely in the past two years that destinations offering workspace and a beautiful, quiet atmosphere have been in high demand.

Clydesdale Outpost offers high speed WI-FI services and the ability to set up your workstation in a place that will make your coworkers green with envy. There’s desk space in each cabin, but nothing stops creatives from harnessing their inner Henry David Thoreau and taking a notebook to sit by the river or where the horses gather to write.

Come As You Are

Clydesdale Outpost looks to be the perfect getaway for any group and any reason. ““We plan to bridge the gap between a hotel/resort and dude ranch,” says Benjamin,  “Where people can have as much, or as little, interaction with horses as they please.”

Need a getaway with your girls? Bring them on over, catch a quick cocktail at the check-in center, and have a blast hanging out in the cabins or interacting with the horses. Bachelor party? Bring your guys and get in touch with your inner “Mountain Man.” Even families could have their dream getaway at the Outpost.

The Clydesdale Outpost even has the availability to host weddings and other events. Wedding coverage includes an outdoor “nature space” for the ceremony and access to the grounds and the Clydesdale Barn for photos. A couple could even add a Clydesdale-pulled carriage to their package, allowing them to have the whole equestrian experience for their big day.

All the Pretty Horses

The gorgeous Clydesdales are the centerpiece of the venue, naturally. There is a Clydesdale Barn where foals are born annually, and guests can get up close and personal with the horses. There is also a gift shop and recreation/events centering around the horses offered to all.

The horses play a huge part in the guest experience, intending to offer a ranch feel for guests. The Arnold-Ladensacks hope that allowing close access to the majestic horse breed will help educate guests on Clydesdales.

Whitefish

Just a stone’s throw from Whitefish, a gem of a Montana resort town, Clydesdale Outpost is perfectly located for a getaway. Whitefish is an authentic mountain town and has been a popular upscale destination for years. It was even named one of the “Top 25 Ski Towns in the World” by National Geographic. At the front door of Glacier National Park, Whitefish is chock full of activities that visitors to Clydesdale Outpost can take advantage of, wherever their interests may lie.

Benjamin and Matt are hard at work preparing for their Summer 2022 launch, already taking wedding and event bookings and reservations for cabin stays. It is the realization of a dream that began decades ago with a few horses in Germany.
