(Newswire.net — February 1, 2022) Orlando, FL — The scientific community has long been researching the various aspects of arthritis. This includes the lifestyle factors that significantly influence the management of the condition.
A study was carried out and published in Arthritis Care & Research.
In this study, the investigators looked into patterns of 24-hour physical activity and sleep among individuals suffering from rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, and knee osteoarthritis.
It involved 172 participants and four profiles apparent with differences, which were characterized by variations in non-ambulatory activities (High Sitters), time spent sleeping (High and Low sleepers), and ambulatory activities (Balanced Activity).
The investigators found a link between not having a job that involved a lot of sitting, younger age and having outside walking as a habit and Balanced Activity relative to High Sitters.
It is worth noting that in considering these profiles, it may be helpful in modifying activity or sleep behaviors among individuals with arthritis.
According to lead author Lynne Feehan, PT, Ph.D., we all live our daily lives over 24 hours, and our study found that people with arthritis are likely to have one of four distinctly different patterns for how they allocate time in sleep and a variety of activities throughout their day.
Feehan is from the Department of Physical Therapy, University of British Columbia.
“This suggests that a one-size-fits-all approach to supporting people with arthritis to modify their daily sleep or physical activity choices may not be appropriate,” he adds.
Health authorities have time and again stress the relevance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle and dietary practices. Doing these is vital for the proper management of the condition, in addition to using certain pain relievers.
Pain relievers like nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) are widely used nowadays. These are medications formulated to temporarily provide pain relief. However, their use is also notoriously known to produce side effects.
This is why today, more and more people are turning to the use of safer alternatives like glucosamine, which is an all-natural joint cartilage health remedy.
In various research studies, it has been found that glucosamine worked in repairing cartilage damage and reducing the odds of cartilage deterioration. It is even used widely by athletes who are trying to preserve their joint health.
Divine Bounty Glucosamine is an excellent formula for individuals who want to achieve arthritis pain relief in a natural way. This formula even has another arthritis-fighting ingredient called methylsulfonylmethane (MSM), which is also an arthritis-fighting ingredient.
Individuals who want to benefit from the arthritis pain-reducing effects of this remedy may turn to the use of this formula (www.amazon.com/Glucosamine-Sulfate-Supplement-2000mg-serving/dp/B0126ZF0B0).
