(Newswire.net — February 4, 2022) Orlando, FL — The researchers from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) warns that the total number of individuals living with diabetes has increased by an average of 0.6 percent annually between 2008 and 2012.

Experts have long been warning against this condition as it is incurable and highly prevalent. What makes it all the more disadvantageous is that it leads to complications when poorly managed.

This study was published in the Journal of the American Medical Association.

According to the investigators, the overall adult diabetes rates seem to have leveled off during the past four years in the United States.

This new federal study also stresses that this is a stark contrast to the doubling rates of the disease in the past two decades.

The study has also shown that the number of new cases reduced by an average of 5.4 percent. The rates of this condition continue to rise for Hispanics, African Americans, the aging, and the poorly educated.

According to study co-author Ann Albright, they are beginning to see a slowing of the increase in diabetes, and potentially a plateauing.

Ann Albright is director of the CDC’s Division of Diabetes Translation.

Today, more and more experts strongly recommend ensuring some measures that could significantly aid in warding off the condition.

Not many people are aware that some natural remedies like resveratrol have been scientifically found to aid in fighting diabetes. This powerful antioxidant has been found to reduce blood sugar levels in individuals with diabetes.

It is worth realizing that this natural compound can be found in over 70 plant species, such as pine trees, grapes, and certain vines.

In some studies, it has been found to have antioxidant, antifungal, antiviral, and antibacterial effects. This natural remedy could also potentially fight health issues like bacterial and viral infections, Alzheimer’s disease, and Parkinson’s disease.

Researchers carried out a study and assigned 66 participants with diabetes randomly to resveratrol or placebo group. It is worth stressing that the treatment group received one gram of resveratrol for 45 days.

The investigators found that the resveratrol group achieved significantly reduced blood pressure, insulin resistance, and blood glucose compared to the levels they had at the beginning of the study.

It is worth mentioning that the use of this natural remedy could also deliver many other healing effects. This is why today it is widely resorted to via supplementation, such as the use of Purest Vantage Resveratrol (amazon.com/Resveratrol-Supplement-Trans-Resveratrol-Additional-Polyphenol/dp/B01N3LZY3O).
