(Newswire.net — February 24, 2022) Orlando, FL — By 2025, osteoporosis-related fractures are projected to be greater than 3 million. This condition is considered to be a silent disease and is affecting about 54 million individuals in the United States.

Research further warns that it accounts for two million broken bones annually. Still in the U.S., it is estimated that 52 percent of postmenopausal white women are osteopenic and 20 percent are osteoporotic.

The International Osteoporosis Foundation even warns that osteoporosis has long been identified to be a public health threat on American soil.

Due to the increasing prevalence of bone health issues, more and more researchers are investigating these problems.

One of the studies was published in the Journal of Bone and Mineral Research.

It was carried out by the scientists from Hebrew SeniorLife’s Institute for Aging Research, Boston University, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, and the University of Calgary.

The study has shown evidence about weight loss resulting in the worsening of bone density, bone architecture, and bone strength.

According to Douglas P. Kiel, MD, MPH, principal investigator for the study, the study is significant because it used data on weight changes over 40 years in participants in the Framingham Study.

Due to the findings of the study, the researchers strongly recommend being aware of the potential negative effects of weight loss on the skeleton among older adults. These effects may be counteracted through interventions like weight-bearing exercises and following a balanced diet.

Today, more and more researchers are investigating the various potentially effective remedies for bone health. It is worth realizing that aside from following a healthy diet and exercising regularly, some natural remedies have also been found helpful.

It is best to take the measures researchers found helpful in preventing bone loss and osteoporosis. There are remedies like ashwagandha many studies found to be useful.

Aside from reducing the loss of bone-supporting nutrients, ashwagandha has further been found to aid in fighting inflammation and stress. Due to its ability to decrease levels of cortisol and inflammation, it has been found to decrease bone damage.

It is important to note that cortisol, which is a stress hormone, has damaging effects on the bones. In some studies, it has even demonstrated its ability to decrease the rate of new bone formation. Further, ashwagandha aids in bone healing and promotes new bone formation.

To benefit from its bone-health effects, it can be helpful to take into account the use of Divine Bounty Ashwagandha (https://www.amazon.com/Organic-Ashwagandha-Capsules-Absorption-Ashwaganda/dp/B072KFLL6X).
