(Newswire.net — June 7, 2022) Orlando, FL — Doctors and health authorities continue to warn against stroke and heart disease, which are some of the world’s most prevalent conditions. The good news is that in a study, the rates of these conditions seem to have dropped.

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s new 2005 data has shown that since 1999, there was a decline in the death rates of heart disease by 25.8 percent.

Further, deaths from stroke also dropped by 24.4 percent.

According to Dr. Dan Jones, president of the heart association, there is evidence of strong progress in our battle against heart disease and stroke.

Dr. Jones cited numerous factors found to contribute to the decrease in the deaths due to heart disease and stroke. It is worth realizing that in the U.S., these are the number-one and number-three killers, respectively.

These contributing factors include better treatments for both heart disease and stroke, with new medications and technologies, as well as new treatment guidelines.

There have also been better drugs and treatment guidelines to control blood pressure and cholesterol, and a reduction in smoking rates.

Dr. Gregg C. Fonarow agrees that more effort is required to get people to control risk factors for heart disease and stroke. These include high blood pressure and high cholesterol.

Dr. Fonarow is a professor of cardiology at the University of California, Los Angeles.

Today, more and more scientists are carrying out studies to explore the techniques or strategies for taking better care of the heart. It is worth realizing that some of the most proven measures in protecting the heart are following healthy dietary and lifestyle practices.

There are also studies revealing that some natural remedies like resveratrol may aid in helping maintain heart health. This natural compound has long been investigated due to its beneficial effects on cardiovascular health.

Aside from being an antioxidant, it is worth realizing that resveratrol is also a powerful anti-inflammatory.

It is worth noting that chronic inflammation has long been linked with cardiovascular disease. Due to its anti-inflammatory effects, resveratrol has been found to be potentially helpful in warding off heart disease.

Scientists also note that this antioxidant inhibits the dysfunctional production or activity of pro-inflammatory proteins linked with the development of heart disease. These include the COX and tumor necrosis factor-alpha enzymes.

Resveratrol has been found to exert varying mechanisms to benefit the heart. However, it is also worth noting that its use is also associated with many other benefits.

Today, it is widely reported to via supplementation like the use of Divine Bounty Resveratrol (http://amazon.com/Resveratrol-Supplement-Strength-Extract-capsules/dp/B019C0UU5S).
