(Newswire.net — June 24, 2022) Las Vegas, NV — One of the culprits of the most common diseases today is living a sedentary lifestyle. Experts have long been warning against being sedentary as it could wreak havoc on overall health.

A new study has shown that almost half of the American population sit for far too many hours a day and don’t get any exercise at all.

It involved a survey of 5,900 adults as subjects. The investigators found that almost 26 percent of the participants sit for over eight hours a day. It is similarly worth realizing that 45 percent don’t get any moderate or vigorous exercise during the week.

Emily Ussery, the lead author, says that being sedentary increases the risk of heart disease, high blood pressure, and dying early.

Ussery is an epidemiologist at the National Center for Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Promotion, part of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

The study findings have also shown that around 11 percent sit more than eight hours a day and are physically inactive.

“In recent years, we have begun to understand the health hazards of excessive sitting,” says study co-author Peter Katzmarzyk.

This study was published in the Journal of the American Medical Association.

There are measures found significantly helpful in fighting heart disease. Aside from following healthy dietary and lifestyle practices, it is also important to consider the use of all-natural heart-health-enhancing remedies.

One is curcumin, which is an active compound found in an Ayurvedic spice called turmeric. It is worth noting that a variety of research studies and clinical trials suggest curcumin has many healing agents.

These include genoprotective, antiviral, renoprotective, insulin-sensitizing, androgenic, antifibrotic, neurorestorative, anti-platelet, antioxidant, anti-amyloidogenic, anti-cytotoxic, antibiotic, antimicrobial, anti-purulent, and metal-chelating properties.

It also contains an anticoagulant, antifungal, adaptogenic, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, anticarcinogenic, antiproliferative, antiseptic, immunomodulating, and anti-catabolic agents. A study was published in the Journal of Applied Physiology.

In this research, it has been found the use of curcumin showed promise in repairing exercise intolerance encountered by individuals with heart failure. It is worth realizing that people suffering from heart failure usually have decreased function of their left ventricle.

According to experts, the left ventricle is the chamber of the heart that pumps blood out to the rest of the body.

It is important to realize that curcumin has been found by many other studies to exert varying mechanisms in protecting and enhancing heart health. Today, it is actually widely resorted to via supplementation, such as the use of Incredipure Curcumin (http://www.amazon.com/Turmeric-Curcumin-Supplement-BioPerine-Capsule/dp/B0166KAW8M).
