(Newswire.net — July 7, 2022) Orlando, FL — Multiple studies have been carried out to learn about the prevalence and possible cures for erectile dysfunction. In some studies, it has been found that in men with erectile dysfunction, nearly half of them, or 48.8 percent, had a severe cause of this sexual condition.

The American Urological Association reveals that this condition affects about 30 million men in the U.S.

It is worth noting that according to research, as many as 52 percent of men suffer from erectile dysfunction. It affects 40 percent of men who are 40 years old and 70 percent of those aged 70 years.

Experts have long been warning against the various causes of this condition. These include having a sedentary lifestyle, hypertension, high cholesterol, cardiovascular disease, obesity, and smoking. It may also be due to spinal cord injury, stress, sexual performance anxiety, and depression.

Nutrients have long been gaining a reputation in the roles they play against ED. Surprisingly, a trace mineral called zinc has been scientifically found to have ED-fighting effects.

According to researchers, zinc plays a vital role in various aspects of human health. It is worth noting that having inadequate levels of zinc has been linked with ED.

It is worth noting that this trace mineral is vital to the development and function of the male sex organs. In some studies, it has been found males with a deficiency in zinc had less developed testes and decreased sperm count.

In a 2016 study, researchers found that intake of zinc combined with other nutrients led to improvements in ejaculatory control.

This nutrient actually aids in the production of key sex hormones, such as prolactin and testosterone. It also enables the creation of the main component of prostatic fluid.

There are actually many studies demonstrating the various therapeutic activities of zinc against ED. In one study, it has been able to increase the time before ejaculation and penile thrusting. Some other studies show that supplementation of zinc is a potential ED treatment among those with long-term kidney failure.

A 2016 study also found that a supplement containing folic acid, zinc, and the herb golden root improved the ejaculatory control of those affected by premature ejaculation.

Zinc can be obtained through increased intake of certain fruits and vegetables. However, it is worth noting that some formulas like the highly potent Divine Bounty Men’s Multivitamins may be an excellent source.
