(Newswire.net — July 22, 2022) Orlando, FL — Chronic liver diseases continue to alarm experts today. One of these ailments is liver cirrhosis, which global prevalence ranges from 4.5 percent to 9.5 percent of the general population.

Experts warn that liver disease actually represented 9.5 percent of alcohol-related DALYs. On a global scale, the estimated mortality rate of cirrhosis was 771,000 individuals. It was even ranked as the 10th top cause of death worldwide.

By 2020, it is estimated to be on the 12th top cause of death. In Asian countries like India, it has been found alcohol is an emerging common cause of chronic liver disease.

It is important to realize that liver cancer is also prevalent today. There are many researchers who investigate the various aspects of liver health to ward off some problems affecting the organ.

A study was published in the Journal of Experimental Medicine.

In this research carried out in Spain, it has been found that a hormone secreted by fat cells can halt liver cells from turning cancerous. It is worth noting that this hormone is found at higher levels in women.

According to the researchers, this may explain why hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is more prevalent in men.

In the United States, statistics reveal that men are at a doubled risk of HCC. One potential contributor is a hormone called adiponectin, which is secreted by fat cells that helps control the body’s metabolism.

Dr. Guadalupe Sabio of the Spanish National Center for Cardiovascular Research (CNIC) in Madrid, says that circulating adiponectin levels have been reported to be higher in women than in men.

“However, adiponectin’s role in HCC is controversial and needed further investigation,” Dr. Sabio adds.

A cascade of research studies has been demonstrating a variety of ways to help enhance liver health. It is vital to increase liver protection as it can significantly aid in decreasing the risk of fatal conditions.

Some all-natural remedies like resveratrol have been found helpful for liver health, especially in fighting certain conditions affecting the organ.

This powerful antioxidant has been found to protect the liver from damage. It is worth noting that in some studies, resveratrol has shown its ability to fight liver disease caused by alcohol consumption.

In addition to its liver benefits, resveratrol is also being widely studied for a range of medicinal purposes.

There are supplements like Purest Vantage Resveratrol found helpful in delivering the liver health benefits of this natural remedy.

This formula is thought to be superior to other brands because it is highly potent, and is free from nasty ingredients (amazon.com/Resveratrol-Supplement-Trans-Resveratrol-Additional-Polyphenol/dp/B01N3LZY3O).
