(Newswire.net — August 10, 2022) Orlando, FL — A variety of household chemicals have long been associated with a myriad of undesirable health effects. However, it is worth mentioning that some have been found particularly helpful for certain aspects of health.

A study was carried out by researchers from West Virginia University.

In this study, it has been found that common household chemicals may lead to new treatments for heart disease in diabetic adults. These chemicals can be found in cleaning products, nonstick cookware, and pain.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention warns against the use of PFAS as they are considered to be a public health threat. They are manufactured chemicals that work in repelling oil and water.

However, Kim Innes, of the WVU School of Public Health, and her colleagues found that greater exposure to perfluoroalkyl substances was linked with lower rates of existing coronary heart disease in adults with diabetes.

In this research, the investigators looked into the link between blood PFAS levels and coronary heart disease using data gathered as part of the C8 Health Project.

The C8 Health Project is a large, community-based study launched in 2005.

The investigators suggest that the heart health effects of PFAS may be due to their ability to reduce inflammation. The chemical also enhances the sensitivity of the body to insulin or the ability to transport oxygen.

According to researchers, all of these promote heart health. The scientific community continues to explore the various possible ways to help enhance and protect cardiovascular health.

Surprisingly, some nutrients have been found to have remarkable effects on heart health. One is magnesium which many scientists have been carrying out studies on to learn about its life-saving benefits.

In multiple research studies, investigators have found that reduced magnesium levels can be a predictor of heart disease. Experts suggest low levels of this mineral have been linked with certain risk factors for cardiovascular disease.

These are hardening of the arteries, arterial plaque build-up, high blood pressure, calcification of soft tissues, and cholesterol.

Scientists continue to investigate the potential healing benefits of magnesium not just for the heart, but for overall health. There are studies revealing that supplementation of this mineral offers a myriad of healing effects.

One of the supplements that gain increasing popularity today is Divine Bounty Magnesium Citrate, which is widely reputed to deliver top-quality and highly potent magnesium.

While there are many formulas available in the market today, this one from Divine Bounty is thought to be superior to others. It even contains citric acid, which is an added ingredient to increase magnesium absorption inside the body (amazon.com/Divine-Bounty-Magnesium-Citrate-Supplement/dp/B01LYWPNY6).
