With this system, the professional can position himself anywhere, including the position where the rays start, and thus actually “see” where they will pass. The manipulation of the beams, performed with a device attached to the doctor’s hand, becomes easier and more intuitive due to the immersion in the virtual environment. 

3. Ultrasound 

Ultrasound is another healthcare field that has benefited from the capabilities of virtual reality development. Three-dimensional (3D) ultrasound is capable of producing color images in real time, which can be visualized in detail in parallel reality devices. 

The resource represents a great advance for the sector as it allows the early diagnosis of malformations, as it allows a more faithful visualization of all the structures of the fetus.
