(Newswire.net — September 20, 2022) Orlando, FL — A highly common autoimmune disease called rheumatoid arthritis (RA) continues to affect people, especially in the U.S.

In the country, rheumatoid arthritis is the second most common form of arthritis following osteoarthritis. This autoimmune condition attacks the synovial tissues within the joints.

According to experts, autoimmune diseases happen when the immune system of the body mistakenly perceives its tissues as foreign invaders, such as viruses and bacteria. During the confusion of the immune system, it develops antibodies for the purpose of seeking out and destroying the “invaders” in the synovium.

When this condition develops, it leads to symptoms like low-grade fevers, anemia, weight loss, fatigue, pain, stiffness, and physical limitations.

While this condition has remained incurable, it is worth noting that it can be managed through lifestyle and dietary improvements. There are also medications like nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) used widely for the relief of symptoms.

When it comes to battling with inflammation linked with arthritis, some nutrients like vitamin B6 may be potentially useful. It is important to keep in mind that in some studies, vitamin B6 has worked in lessening symptoms associated with this type of rheumatoid arthritis.

Scientists carried out a study that lasted for 30 days and involved 36 adults with rheumatoid arthritis.

It has been found that a daily intake of 50 mg of vitamin B6 was able to work in correcting reduced blood levels of B6. Other studies are showing the inflammation-fighting impacts of this nutrient.

Another one involved 43 adults with rheumatoid arthritis. They were made to take 5 mg of folic acid alone or 100 mg of vitamin B6 with 5 mg of folic acid daily.

The findings have shown that receiving B6 led to significantly lower levels of pro-inflammatory molecules after 12 weeks.

Scientists continue to carry out studies to investigate the arthritis-fighting benefits of these nutrients. However, it remains true that these vitamins could work wonders in fighting a range of diseases and disorders.

They are so important that their deficiencies are even linked with the onset of certain symptoms and diseases. Today, B vitamins are widely consumed via supplementation such as the use of Purest Vantage B Vitamin Complex.

It contains Choline, Pantothenic acid, Biotin, Vitamin B12, Folic Acid, Niacin, Riboflavin, Thiamin, and vitamin B6.
