Old Orchard Country Club (847-255-2025), an elegant event space in Mount Prospect overlooking a golf course, has introduced full-service wedding and special event packages to help Des Plaines and Arlington Heights residents plan their private parties.

The new event space rental options are flexible enough to suit any type of celebration. The country club has hosted weddings, corporate events, baby showers, birthday parties, anniversary dinners, and more.

The facility boasts impressive indoor and outdoor spaces. Guests arrive at a covered circular drive surrounded by manicured and landscaped grounds. Couples who love the outdoors can have their wedding ceremony in the front garden or at the 10th tee, where their photographer can capture some of the golf course’s beautiful ponds, trees, fountains, and flowered paths.

For indoor celebrations, the club has a large ballroom decorated in neutral tones, with glass chandeliers and floor-to-ceiling windows. Before heading to the ballroom, brides and their friends can get ready in the club’s 300-square-foot bridal suite, which features private restrooms, a spacious dressing room, a makeup vanity with lighted mirrors, and comfortable lounge seating.

Party planners looking for a smaller venue can use the two-story clubhouse that accommodates up to 125 people. The clubhouse has a large square bar, cocktail tables, floor-to-ceiling windows, a baby grand piano, and access to an outdoor porch with a large fireplace.

Old Orchard Country Club is one of the most popular public country clubs near Des Plaines. It is located just outside downtown Chicago and close to O’Hare Airport.
