Gradient Solar Systems has announced that they will be partnering with California businesses to develop solar projects for commercial use.

Known as a leader in residential and agricultural solar power throughout California, Gradient Solar is now encouraging more businesses to embrace clean energy by offering comprehensive energy use analysis to guide companies in reducing their operating costs with solar.

Details on this commercial solar initiative can be found at https://gradientsolarsystems.com/

Gradient Solar’s energy analysis will help companies assess their current and projected usage to calculate both the immediate energy savings of going solar, as well as potential tax credits and payment plans. This helps businesses plot the most efficient path towards their financial, environmental, and social goals.

Innovations in solar technology have caused the price per Watt of solar power to drop to less than $1 in recent years, with some sources estimating it to be over 30% cheaper than gas power. With such record low prices, the time has never been better for companies to invest in the transition to clean energy.

When combined with batteries and smart power management systems, a company’s solar system can become its own microgrid, keeping the business powered during widespread outages. Smart power management systems can even be used to provide extra power at night or when energy prices are up, minimizing a company’s power bills.

As part of their initiative, Gradient Solar is offering PPAs to allow companies to install a new solar system with no initial investment. With these agreements, companies will only be responsible for the cost of their energy usage, with an option to buy the discounted system at the end of their agreement.

By educating companies on not only the financial benefits of solar, but the increased security and control that sustainable energy independence brings to a business, Gradient Solar is hoping to encourage more business owners to make the transition to clean energy.

A spokesperson for the company shared that “today, PV solar is an affordable, accessible, and prevalent energy source that provides organizations the opportunity to own a power-generating asset, rather than continuously purchasing electricity from utilities and other outside energy brokers.”
