New Broadsword President and CEO Darian Poinsetta to lead growth with clients implementing Agile methods and CMMI. Jeff Dalton transitions to the role of Chief Development Officer.

DETROIT: Broadsword Solutions Corporation (Broadsword) today announced that they have appointed Darian Poinsetta as President and CEO.
Mr. Poinsetta has served as a Senior Consultant at Broadsword for nearly ten years, and has been a close colleague of Broadsword’s former CEO, Jeff Dalton, for more than three decades, including sharing technology leadership roles at Ernst & Young, LLP, Intellicorp, and internet communications firm eLoyalty. He is a Certified CMMI Lead Appraiser with a 30-year career as Vice President of Program Operations at The Olofson Group, and in senior level consulting positions at Ernst & Young, eLoyalty, Intellicorp, and Black & Veatch. His expertise includes program management, portfolio management, business process transformation, solutions design, systems integration, benefit realization, and health plan operations. In addition to his CMMI credentials, Poinsetta is a PMP, Scrum Master, and Broadsword’s Business Development Capability Maturity Model (BD-CMM) expert.

Poinsetta and Dalton worked closely together in the development of Broadsword’s flagship methodology, known as “AgileCMMI,” as well as the Agile Performance Holarchy, an Agile Leadership model that formed the basis of Dalton’s book, “Great Big Agile.” They will continue to work together as Broadsword offers Agile, CMMI, A-SPICE, ISO, and Organizational Change consulting, appraisals, workshops, and training.
Dalton will continue to focus on Broadsword’s success by transitioning to the role of Chief Development Officer, where he will focus on new product development, client acquisition, and cybersecurity.
