Employers that still have not claimed their ERC rebates can use this fast refund calculator and eligibility checking tool recently updated by LP Consulting to determine how much they may be eligible for in tax credits, with no cost or obligation.

LP Consulting has partnered with a firm of Employee Retention Credit (ERC) specialist CPAs to help employers claim the maximum allowable pandemic relief funds for 2020 and 2021. The assessment service has been expanded to reflect changes in the maximum allowable rebates and eligibility requirements and to allow clients to apply even if they have already received loans through the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP). Employers may now be able to claim as much as $26,000 per employee in rebates, with no restrictions on how the funds can be spent, and no upper limit on funding.

The application process requires only 15 minutes from the business owner, to provide documents to the CPA team and answer some basic questions. The CPA team will use that information to calculate the maximum allowable rebate, complete all the required paperwork, and help the client to file for a rebate.

Rebates claimed through LP Consulting are not a deferral or loan, never require repayment, and can be spent with no restrictions. These funds are provided by the federal government as reimbursement for wages that employers have already paid during the recent pandemic.

While experts suggest that the average small business rebate is approximately $150,000, individual rebates can vary widely. With no upper limit on funding, some businesses have been able to claim more than $2 million in rebates, which never need to be repaid.
