Dermysk Medical Aesthetics Academy (587-487-1249) has updated its training courses to allow students to learn primarily online, in their own time, with in-person training for the practical portion of each course.
Training courses from Dermysk Medical Aesthetics Academy, ranging from Basics to Master Aesthetician, have been updated to provide a unique combination of in-person practical training, at-home online learning, and in-class lessons, suited to recent high school graduates, or individuals interested in starting a new business.
More information about online medical aesthetics training, the amount of practical in-person training required, and the full list of available courses can be found at https://dermysk.com/pages/academy
Dermysk Academy’s expanded courses include all the knowledge required to begin providing services to paying clients, including detailed information about legal and regulatory considerations. While the practical, in-person training must be completed during regular hours, the online courses can be completed at any time, without requiring regular attendance at the academy.
While the field of medical aesthetics is too extensive for a single training course, Dermysk Academy ensures that every student is able, experienced, and comfortable performing up to a dozen popular procedures before they graduate from the Basic course. A full list of treatments in the Basic course can be found on the Dermysk website, including laser hair or tattoo removal, fractional ablation, and a variety of professional acne treatments.
By building their training academies alongside their clinics, the Dermysk team helps students to get real-world experience by performing medical aesthetic procedures with actual clients in a safe and supervised environment. Students will also learn several basic business strategies, and how to deal with clients before, during, and after their procedures.
To enroll in a Dermysk Basic training course, students are only required to have either a high school diploma or some form of relevant job experience. Advanced and Master courses, as well as special training for injectable cosmetics, can be accessed either with a diploma from a previous Dermysk training course or by providing evidence of other relevant industry training or experience.
A spokesperson for the Academy explained, “At Dermysk, we offer small class sizes with adequate one on one attention from instructors. You’ll experience individualized practical training to make sure you master the treatments at your own pace. Our courses will make you ready for real-world practice on day one after graduation.”
