Sewing Pattern Secrets, an online hub for sewing project kits, guides and tutorials, has released a new sewing machine pattern for children’s bathrobes.

With the addition of their new children’s bathrobe, Sewing Pattern Secrets grows its collection of children’s clothing and accessories and adds to the over 125 sewing machine patterns and project kits currently available on the site. The sewing hub was founded by Molly McGuire, a professional American seamstress. With the page, she has gathered together some of her favorite patterns from her decades-long career, as well as some of her favorite patterns from other professional sewists across the US.

The online hub adds a new seamstress-approved pattern to its site each month. This month, Sewing Pattern Secrets’ new children’s bathrobe joins their resource of boys’, girls’, and unisex’ clothing items, which also includes their popular children’s vests and dress-up costumes, boys’ swimming trunks, and girls’ dresses.

Although Molly McGuire has worked as a seamstress for decades, she still remembers how it feels to be a beginner sewist, which is why she also adds a step-by-step instruction list to each pattern that she has written herself.

These A-Z style lists cover every step of the project in detail, using clear and straightforward language. Additionally, Sewing Pattern Secrets adds material and cutting lists to their sewing project kits, as well as full garment schematics and views of the completed garment from all angles.

Even when it comes to simple projects like children’s bathrobes, which Molly McGuire believes most sewists can complete in one hour, the site still includes tailored tutorial videos to help sewists through any of the more challenging steps.

Sewing Pattern Secrets has a diverse range of patterns for children’s clothing, as well as designs for babies’, women’s, and men’s clothing. Their patterns have been designed by top seamstresses and, therefore, they believe they are of much higher quality than the free patterns often available online.

A spokesperson for the sewing hub said, “In addition to our database of 125 plus sewing patterns, we release new patterns every month drafted from our workshop. If you become a member of Sewing Pattern Secrets, you will get lifetime access to a membership area where you can download these new plans monthly.”
