This new training program from the Dermysk Medical Aesthetics Academy (647-247-2481) has been optimized to help recent high school graduates become fully certified and ready to begin MedSpa careers, using a combination of convenient online classes and hands-on training.

Using this new certification program from the Dermysk Medical Aesthetics Academy, students can begin their education in MedSpa procedures directly after graduating high school and can be fully certified to begin their new career in as little as a few months.

More information about MedSpa careers, the new certification program, and the Dermysk Academy can be found at https://dermysk.com/pages/academy

To ensure equal access to the new program, the Dermysk Academy uses a combination of online learning and hands-on training, which allows students to continue to work another job or raise a family while completing their education. Students can complete the online classes from anywhere with an internet connection, at their own convenience.

After students finish the online learning portion of the class, they will be able to schedule hands-on training at any Dermysk Academy location across Canada. With the Basic certification program, this hands-on training will last up to 7 days, and students will get practical experience in up to a dozen popular medical aesthetic procedures.

While the exact procedures included in the training may vary by class, graduates of the Basic program will be certified and experienced in common procedures such as acne treatments, laser hair and tattoo removal, fractional ablation, and micro-blading. Students may also return at any time for additional training, by registering for the Advanced program.

In the Advanced program, students will learn complex techniques that are less commonly available, such as stem cell treatments, body sculpting, and laser pigmentation. However, registration for this program requires at least 5 years of experience working in the medical aesthetic industry or previous graduation from the Dermysk Academy’s Basic training.

The Dermysk Academy has also launched a Master-level training program that, while requiring no specific qualifications or pre-training, is only available to certain highly dedicated students. This program covers everything taught in both the Basic and Advanced programs and includes exclusive training not found elsewhere.

One new aesthetician explained, “My experience at Dermysk Academy was a wholeheartedly positive one. I loved the accessibility of online learning and the practicum was close to home.”
