Caribbean street food kitchen Sesar’s (06-34267666) announced the opening of its new stall at the Stationsplein in Beverwijk, NL.
Bringing a new concept to the Dutch street food scene, the new eatery provides customers with a menu that combines traditional Caribbean flavors and modern culinary techniques.

Open from 12 pm to 8 pm, Monday to Saturday, Sesar’s now offers staple street foods with authentic spices and signature jerk marinades from the Caribbean Sea region.
Originating in Jamaica, jerk cooking involves marinating meat in hot seasoning that typically includes scotch bonnet peppers, allspice, cinnamon, thyme, and nutmeg amongst other variations. The meat is then slow-cooked or grilled to allow for maximum flavor absorption and tenderization.
With a commitment to both authenticity and freshness, Sesar’s dishes are prepared daily and do not contain any additives. “It’s simply pure food, and its taste is a testament to that,” said a spokesperson.
On the menu, customers can find halal Jerky Beef and Jerky Chicken in handmade flatbread wraps. Eaten widely across the Caribbean, unleavened bread or roti is made from wheat flour, baking powder, salt, and water, and cooked on a cast iron pot or tawa.
Other options include loaded fries topped with marinated meat and cheese. All the kitchen’s dishes are accompanied by Pico de Gallo – a type of salsa made with chopped tomato, onion, peppers, lime juice and cilantro. For beverages, customers can choose from bottled water, Red Bull, and a selection of other soft drinks.
In addition to its culinary authenticity, Sesar’s aims to ‘create memories that diners will cherish’ and reflects the vibrancy of Caribbean culture through its food trailer design and customer experience.
Described as a culinary revelation, Sesar’s brings a glimpse of Caribbean culture to customers in Beverwijk. In addition to serving street food, it provides catering services for company parties, birthdays, and weddings.
A satisfied customer said: “After eating here today, I recommend everyone to go and try the Jerky beef. It is so tender and well-seasoned and the bread is freshly made in front of you. The stall and atmosphere are also really nice. I highly recommend it and will definitely eat there again.”
