Provo, UT — May 12, 2026 — FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Splash Summit Waterpark today announced that Opening Day for the 2026 season will take place on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. Guests of all ages are invited to kick off summer at Utah’s largest outdoor waterpark with a full day of slides, waves, and family-friendly attractions.
“Opening Day is our favorite day of the year,” said Jodi Nielsen, General Manager of Splash Summit Waterpark. “Our team has worked hard all offseason to deliver a safe, seamless, and unforgettable experience. We’re excited to welcome guests back for another incredible summer.”
The 2026 season will also introduce a major new experience: Utah’s first Virtual Reality waterslide, debuting opening weekend. Additional details, including previews and launch timing, will be announced in the coming weeks.
