Local Landscaping Company Flores Artscape Gives Back to Community

Flores Artscape is not just an Eagle Rock-based landscape design company that makes award-winning landscape designs that will give your home instant curb appeal and value.

In 2004, Flores Artscape was founded in Long Beach and has continued to be active in supporting the community since moving headquarters to Los Angeles in 2012. This family owned and operated small business has put down roots and grown, providing jobs and supporting local neighborhood events while always working to make more sustainable and beautiful landscapes wherever they go.

As a landscaping company, Flores Artscape works to help homeowners upgrade to drought-tolerant water-saving designs and installations. Their in-house team works to create designs that utilize indiginous plants and incorporate design elements that minimize water usage and help locals help protect Mother Earth.

By setting an example and being an inspiration to others, Flores Artscape earned the 2019 Celebrate LA! Award for Volunteerism by Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti.

Keeping grounds cleared of excess brush, and inhibiting the spread of pests, Flores Artscape remained open as an essential business during the Covid-19 Pandemic. They continued to stay in business through all of the challenges and difficulties, ensuring their employees could continue to have jobs, and providing employment to new hires as they continued to grow.

Flores Artscape remains committed to the community through events and sponsorships such as Juneteenth Freedom March and Block Party in 2021. They worked to support the BLEND Golf Tournament to raise money and support the LAPD cadets, helping underprivileged children have access to tutoring, school materials, and apprenticeship, along with martial arts classes for self-defense.

As part of their continued community involvement, Flores Artscape supported Glassell Park Peace Walk with the Hollywood Area Community Police Advisory Board, and a peace march in North Hollywood with the grassroots organization My TRIBE Rise.

In addition, Flores Artscape was a part of and helped to support a back-to-school backpack giveaway with the Altadena community and My TRIBE Rise for underprivileged kids, which also provided kids with a haircut and school supplies.

Consistent with their core values, Flores Artscape believes in bettering not only outdoor spaces, but also the livelihood of the greater Los Angeles area and those who live in it.
