  2. Pot: This happens when you struck the red ball with the cue ball of the player so that the red ball ends up into the pocket. This can score you 3 points. But if the cue ball of the player strikes the other cue ball and it goes into the pocket, then it will be 2 points for you.
  3. In-off: This is when you strike your cue ball by hitting another ball and this enters into the pocket. It can help you to score 3 points if the red was the first ball to hit. You can score 2 points from this. 

Important Rules of Billiards

  • Games must be played with three balls (red, white and yellow)
  • Each of the two players of billiards must have their own cue ball
  • Both the players have to decide who will break off first
  • Players will remain on the table and take shots unless and until they fail to make a score
  • After a foul, the opposition player will have the choice to put the cue on their own spot as well
