3. Gainesville Dev Academy – Gainseville
Let’s dive into the adult side of things and take a look at opportunities for those who are already working, perhaps underemployed or at a job they detest, to re-focus their energies to gain real world skills in one of the hottest sectors going. Depending upon your interest, expect a full course to last anywhere from 4 to 12 weeks and cost $2,500 to $7,000. The good news for graduates is that the academy is plugged into the local employer scene and can help find employment after graduation. Classes specialize in web development, programming, and iOS development.
4. 4Geeks Academy – Miami
This coding course allows students to focus on either front end or full stack development. Learning takes place in-person at the Miami campus and will set you back about $9,600. Organized as a part-time training course, 4Geeks Academy was created with the idea that a student would be able to complete training without having to quit their job, though you should expect to need to devote around 25 hours weekly to learning. Included in the training are modules on networking and creating a resume’ intended to result in real world programming jobs.
5. American Graphics Institute – Orlando
For those looking to take a smaller bite of coding training, American Graphics Institute, located in Orlando offers 1-5 day courses that run between $500 and $1,000. Offerings run the gamut of introductory material to advanced skills, some of which are HTML5, Dreamweaver, and Photoshop. Training is for students looking to gain skills in designing interfaces with an interest in UX/UI. Classes are held in person and available on both a full-time and part-time basis.
