This week, the latest FUT Heroes card to be upgraded has been leaked, and it has the potential to be the best one yet.
That Pele, of course. We have another leak from the ever-reliable Fut Sheriff, who this time has brought us a look at what appears to be a very special card. Abedi Pele was already one of the best FUT Heroes cards released, FIFA 22 Coins receiving a significant amount of play late in the game cycle, so it stands to reason that his FUT Hero Captain card would be equally as good as his FUT Heroes card.
The stats that have been revealed are insane, with 96 PAC, 90 SHO, 93 PAS, and 96 DRI putting him in a meta-position and making him likely to be lethal in the final third.
Given his Ligue 1 connections, he will be able to form strong bonds with some of the best cards in the game, which will make him a terrifying prospect with the season’s Team of the Season approaching quickly.
Captains of the FUT
On Thursday, February 10th, it was revealed that TrustyFutTrader was not entirely trustworthy in their announcement that FUT Captains would be the next promotional event in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team.
Despite the fact that the time frame was incorrect, the promo has now been released, and it is based on the same concept of selecting players who have captained their club or country.
New variants of the FUT Heroes have been introduced, coins FIFA 22 some of which have insane upgrades, and current-day captains are also included in the promotion. Additionally, in addition to the squads being released into packs, the regular objective player has been made available, with daily SBCs for Icons being added as well!
First and foremost, FUT Captains arrived on Friday, April 8 at the usual time of 1 pm ET/6 pm BST, along with Team 1 joining packs.
There will be two episodes per week for the next two weeks, with Team 2 premiering on Friday, 15 April, at 1 pm ET / 6 pm BST.
It is expected to be the final major promotional event before we begin the build-up to Team of the Season on Friday, April 22, with the main event scheduled to begin on Friday, April 29, according to reports.
