(Newswire.net— April 5, 2018) —  The YouTuber who opened fire at YouTube headquarters practiced shooting at a gun range the CNN reports. This new information points to intention to commit the crime.

The 39-year-old Persian-American Nasim Najafi Aghdam stormed into the headquarters of YouTube in Silicon Valley and shot three people with her 9mm Smith & Wesson handgun.

According to San Bruno Police Chief Ed Barberini, the attack was random, as the shooter didn’t know any of the victims.

After firing several rounds at people, the shooter committed suicide.

The Police identified the shooter as Nasim Najafi Aghdam, who owned several vegan YouTube channels and presented herself as Nasime Sabs which mean “Green Breeze” in Persian. She recorded several anti-carnivore videos that didn’t obtain more than 250k views. It is assumed she was furious because her videos were not viral, for which she blamed YouTube.

Based on a variety of weirdness on YouTube video sharing platform, one can’t conclude that an aggressive psychopath is behind one, but reviewing Nasime’s videos it is beyond any doubt that she was deranged. However, CNN reported that Nasime’s brother warned the police he is afraid she “might do something”.

The fact that she bought a revolver and practiced shooting at a gun range also fueled assumptions that the incident could have been prevented if authorities reacted in time.

According to the Police, Nasime was angry at YouTube because her videos were not as popular as she imagined they would be. “There is no equal growth opportunity on YOUTUBE or any other video sharing site, your channel will grow if they want to!!!!!” one post reads. “YouTube filtered my channels to keep them from getting views!”

“We know she was upset with YouTube, and now we’ve determined that was the motive,” the Police Chief Barberini said after findings that none of the victims knew the attacker personally. Before killing herself, Nasime shoot three people. Two were released from hospital care but one is still in serious condition.
