To celebrate the soft launch of MyCrowd’s new Beta crowdsourcing and freelancing platform, the Silicon Valley tech start-up is giving away thousands in prizes and credits for people and businesses to hire freelancers. MyCrowd is promoting its $1000 Freelancer Giveaway beginning January 29thand ending February 28th, 2014 to show appreciation to its users and generate buzz around their latest Beta update.
A Grand Prize winner will receive $1000 to use on the MyCrowd platform. The 2nd prize winner will be awarded $200 towards a new logo design and the 3rd prize winner will receive 1 free year of Optimizely, a leading A/B testing platform. MyCrowd’s latest Beta release includes updates to its Optimizely integration. The update allows Optimizely users to collaborate with MyCrowd freelancers to help design and edit experiments, all without leaving the A/B testing software. According to Matthew Cordasco, CEO of MyCrowd, “Creating an intuitive connection between software and the growing world of freelancers is a major focus for MyCrowd and this Beta release. We want to make it easier for people to find, hire and collaborate with an on-demand workforce of high quality freelancers. People have maybe five or six apps that they use on a daily basis. Instead of asking people to add yet another tool to their workflow, we bring the crowd to them by integrating directly into the software tools they already use. This is a new and powerful concept.”
The Grand Prize recipient may use their $1,000 to accomplish any number of tasks with the help of MyCrowd’s pool of over 10 million skilled workers. Some popular jobs include mobile app development, market research, web page design, copywriting, translation, HTML coding, SEO and PowerPoint presentations.
Stay up to date on contest details through MyCrowd’s LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter accounts. The winners will be announced in March.
