(Newswire.net — March 12, 2014) Baton Rouge, LA — The 2014 ProBass Challenge is set for March 21st – 23rd. The tournament is a charitable event to help raise money for the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank. The fun starts Friday night with a VIP reception, followed by 2 days of fishing The Basin. While the anglers are on the water, there will be a public activity area set up at the Albertson’s on Jones Creek and Coursey Blvd. where families can learn fishing techniques and see the all new 2014 Tundra on display.

Saturday and Sunday afternoon at 3:00pm, anglers will return to the staging area, and a new 2014 Tundra from Team Toyota will pull the top 5 boats through the staging area for the anglers to weigh their catch of the day. “This will be a great event and Team Toyota is happy to be supporting the local anglers to help raise money for the Food Bank. Hopefully the weather cooperates and lots of fish will be caught!” says Team Automotive owner Preston Peterson.

The Celebrity Pro Bass Challenge is a Charitable Pro-Am Bass Classic where professional players from the NFL, MLB, and coaches are amateurs along with co-anglers. It’s sure to be a lot of fun in South Louisiana and all for a great cause.
